SECTION 2  QUALITY SYSTEM


GENERAL POLICY

Bold Technologies, Inc. maintains a documented quality management system designed and implemented to fulfill ISO 9001 (ANSI/ASQC Q91) requirements. This system creates a framework for clearly defining the control of materials, processes, and verification activities, thus providing our customers with confidence that the design, manufacture, and servicing of Bold Technologies, Inc. products are performed in a well defined and controlled environment.

PROCEDURAL POLICIES

1. Documentation

1.1 Scope of the quality system is defined in the following documents:

- Quality manual

- Operational procedures, known as General Process Specifications (GPSs)

- Work instructions, process procedures and internal standards, known as Manufacturing Process Specifications (MPSs)

- Applicable national and international standards (ANSI, ISO NEC, UL, NIST, etc.)

- Product drawings, bills of materials, specifications, etc.

- Production and quality plans (work orders, quality inspection procedures)

1.2 These documents collectively define a quality system that complies with ISO 9001 (ANSI/ASQC Q91), 1994 revision. General Process Specification G9005, Quality System Documentation, and G9006, Document Control, explain the purpose and the methods for controlling these documents.

2. Quality System Implementation

2.1 All personnel who manage, perform, and verify work affecting quality are responsible for implementing the quality system. The QA Manager is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and auditing the system.
