Our Goals To accomplish our mission we are dedicated to two goals: Improve product technology by extending product life; and lowering the cost of production per wafer by increasing yields. Together these goals combine to form a lower Cost of Ownership. We have been able to achieve these goals by focusing on product reliability (up-time), serviceability, process consistency, and reduced chemical consumption. These goals are used as a road map that engineering, production, and customer support follows to bring you the cleanest and most reliable wet immersion processing equipment available.
Custom Engineering & Manufacturing Our mission, in conjunction with our goals, has led Bold Technologies to engineer innovative products. Bold Technologies’ strength is manufacturing custom wet process equipment per our customers’ specifications. As a custom manufacturer we are able to provide you with a competitive advantage by decreasing costs through equipment engineering. We provide our customers with the smallest possible footprint, reduced media consumption, greater reliability and the safest operating environment. Over the past twenty years we have formed many alliances with our customers which have provided us with greater insight to their needs. Bold’s engineering and production staff together with customer input forms a synergy that results in unique solutions to many wet immersion process challenges.
Bold Technologies' Firsts Recently, to answer customers’ needs, we have engineered and manufactured the following: In-tank chemical dispense and mixing systems; Fully enclosed, class 1 mini-environment process stations; Hot drain cool down systems for draining hot chemicals at high temperature; and Filtered recirculating Piranha and hot phosphoric systems. Through our partnerships we have been the first to introduce many solutions into the industry. We designed, engineered, and patented the first automatic turbo dump rinse system that incorporates a 360 degree cascade and a sealless, centered bottom dump door. We also designed and patented the first true rinse-to-resistivity quick dump rinse process. This process ensures a complete rinse while conserving DI water. Bold subsequently designed and manufactured the first ultra-high- turnover HF etch system that incorporates a smooth laminar flow, eliminating micro-bubbling. This is considered to be the first truly clean, filtered, recirculating HF and BOE etch system.
